The SMART TOTE is equipped with an embedded identification chip that automatically communicates its status whenever it moves within the SMART TOTE network. Each movement is securely recorded, providing a complete audit trail of the tote's location and activity.
If a tote is opened, tampered with, or experiences an unauthorised event, the system immediately identifies the exception and can generate real-time audible alerts at both the dispatch and receiving locations. This enables organisations to quickly detect potential security breaches, improve accountability, and reduce the risk of loss throughout the supply chain.
