How does the SMART TOTE work?

The tote communicates every time it is moved within the SMART TOTE system boundaries advertising its status, this information is logged and exceptions are produced for any tote that has been opened or tampered with. Audible alerts can be created at both the point of origin and the point of receipt.

What is the SMART TOTE system able to tell us?

The SMART TOTE can tell us where it is within the SMART TOTE Communication System boundaries, every time its moved... but more importantly it can also tell us if its been opened, tampered with or if its no longer active in the system.
